Team Canada is operating in pure panic mode right now after Brad Marchand just leaked a terrifying update on their legendary captain.
Sidney Crosby took a brutal hit while facing off against Team Czechia and ended up leaving the game.
The entire country held its breath while the medical staff aggressively worked on the superstar behind closed doors.
At the beginning of the third period, it was announced that Sidney Crosby was not returning to the game, and everyone was left in the dark regarding their captain's injury.
Head coach Jon Cooper would not speak on the situation regarding the actual physical damage.
But his veteran winger just ripped the curtain back, and the reality sounds like an absolute disaster.
Marchand spoke to reporters after the dramatic overtime victory and sounded completely crushed.

The Florida Panthers pest praised his broken captain, calling him the absolute biggest character in the locker room.
He told Adrian Hernandez they simply have no choice but to keep going and battle through the brutal adversity, making it seem like the injury to Crosby may be worse than originally expected.
That definitely does not sound like a guy who expects Crosby to suit up against Finland in the heavy semifinals.
Crosby already banked 60 points in 56 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins this season.
You just can't replace that kind of battle-tested offensive engine overnight.
The Canadian depth looked completely exposed and lost the second he left the ice yesterday.
Will Sidney Crosby return back to Team Canada's lineup for the semifinals?
