Florida Panthers shooting percentage talk starts with Sam Reinhart and Brad Marchand, and the last three seasons prove why.

When you zoom out on the past three seasons, finishing talent matters more than raw shot volume. Florida has plenty of guys who fire pucks, but only a handful turn chances into goals at an elite clip.
The top five Panthers efficiency leaders over that span are Sam Reinhart at 20.8 percent, Brad Marchand at 20.0 percent, Carter Verhaeghe at 14.2 percent, Sam Bennett at 13.0 percent, and Anton Lundell at 11.9 percent.
Reinhart is the cleanest example of «same look, same result.» In 2023-24 he scored 57 goals on 233 shots for a wild 24.5 percent, then followed with 39 goals on 213 shots in 2024-25 for 18.3 percent.
This season he is still humming along, sitting at 24 goals on 127 shots for 18.9 percent. Put those seasons together and you are looking at a finisher who stays hot even when the book is written on him.

As a fan watching this team nightly, you can almost feel the bench relax when Reinhart loads up in the slot.
Marchand's presence is the fun wrinkle, because his game has always been part chaos, part precision. Florida is getting the precision right now, with 23 goals on 115 shots this season, which is exactly 20.0 percent.
Verhaeghe and Bennett tell the other side of the story. Verhaeghe scored 34 goals on 246 shots in 2023-24, and he still shoots enough that defenses cannot ignore him for a second.
Bennett lives around the blue paint, so his looks are uglier but dangerous. He had 20 goals on 171 shots in 2023-24, and his style is built for playoff hockey when goals stop being pretty.
Lundell is the quiet climber, and that matters for roster balance. If he keeps turning middle-six touches into steady finishing, Florida's next milestone is obvious, another long spring run with scoring from everywhere.
