Florida Panthers goaltender Daniil Tarasov is officially facing the absolute wrath of the NHL front office after delivering a totally savage post-game interview.
Following an incredibly frustrating loss to the Buffalo Sabres, the fiery netminder completely lost his cool regarding a highly controversial goalie interference ruling.
During the massive Eastern Conference clash, the Sabres scored a crucial second goal that Tarasov firmly believed involved blatant, unforgiving contact inside the blue paint.
When the officials and the NHL Situation Room in Toronto shockingly allowed the play to stand, the Panthers locker room was left absolutely fuming.
Daniil Tarasov hilariously roasts Toronto Situation Room over massive blown call
«I don't know what these guys are smoking,» Tarasov explicitly stated to the media, launching an absolute verbal grenade directly at the league's replay officials.
But the 26-year-old goaltender didn't stop there, completely turning his attention to a wild conspiracy theory regarding the Toronto-based review center.
Referencing the Panthers' dominant 5-1 victory over the hometown Maple Leafs just 24 hours prior, Tarasov brutally added:
"Or they've been disappointed about yesterday's loss, I don't know," alluding to the Panthers' 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday.
Accusing the NHL officials of holding an absolute personal grudge because of a massive loss by the Maple Leafs is an incredibly bold statement that will undoubtedly catch the immediate attention of the league brass.
While the completely botched call undeniably cost the Panthers highly crucial momentum, Tarasov's absolutely legendary soundbite is exactly the type of pure entertainment the hockey world desperately craves.
Fans in South Florida should fully expect a massive financial fine to cross the wire, but Tarasov's epic, unfiltered rant instantly solidifies him as an absolute locker room legend.
