Matthew Tkachuk is throwing a Team USA gold medal party tonight, and he wants it loud, public, and unforgettable.

This is the kind of celebration that only happens once in a generation, and Tkachuk is treating it that way.

Team USA just ended the wait, beating Canada 2-1 in overtime to finally bring home the top prize again.

The winning goal came 1:41 into OT, the sort of finish that leaves you shaking long after the horn.

Now the adrenaline has to go somewhere, and it is going straight into a party hosted by the Panthers winger.

That is where the transportation twist hits. He rented a double decker bus, and the plan is to ride it like a rolling victory lap.

Panthers fans are probably grinning and also a little nervous, because the regular season is waiting and this guy never celebrates quietly.
