The NHL insider David Pagnotta confirmed that two new players are on the trade block ahead of the deadline, including a former Florida Panthers player.

With the March 6 deadline less than a week away, the pressure is mounting for GMs to make their final moves.
Pagnotta shared a significant update regarding Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers as well as New York Islanders winger Anthony Duclair.
While both veterans have been staples for their respective clubs, the shifting landscape of the standings has put them squarely in the shop window.
Duclair, a former 31-goal scorer for the Panthers, is reportedly available as the Islanders look to pivot.
However, Pagnotta noted that moving the speedy winger won't be easy. Duclair has a full no-trade clause (NTC) and has already expressed a desire to see things through in Long Island.

Former Panthers forward reportedly on the block

Over 54 games this season, Duclair has posted 12 goals and 26 points. While his production has been streaky, including a massive eight-goal outburst in January, he remains a high-end secondary scoring option for any contender willing to navigate his contract.
Meanwhile, the situation in Vancouver has reached a boiling point. Tyler Myers was a late scratch for "roster management" purposes during Wednesday's loss to the Jets, a move that usually signals a deal is imminent.
The 6-foot-8 defenseman carries a $3 million cap hit and has recorded 65 hits and 91 blocked shots this season. While his offensive output has dipped to just eight points, his veteran presence and massive reach are coveted by teams like the Detroit Red Wings and Dallas Stars.
Like Duclair, Myers holds the cards with a no-movement clause. Pagnotta described the situation as a "waiting game" as the veteran weighs his options. If both players agree to waive, we could see a massive shift in the playoff race by Friday.
